ISLAMABAD: The Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (CRAFO) is visiting Pakistan to boost cooperation between the two air forces as well as augment bilateral ties.
CRAFO Air Vice Marshal Matar bin Ali Al-Obaidani will be paying a four-day visit to Pakistan along with a delegation.
He was seen off by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Oman Ali Javed at the Seeb Airbase on Sunday.
CRAFO Al-Obaidani said on the occasion that his visit would be a valuable opportunity to boost cooperation between the air forces of the two countries.
In addition to receiving a guard of honour and holding bilateral talks with his Pakistani counterpart, the Oman Air Force chief will hold separate meetings with the complete spectrum of Pakistan armed forces leadership, including Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, to forge bilateral defence cooperation.
