KARACHI: Six cars, 15 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, Jan 12: Twenty-one vehicles — six cars and 15 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Saturday, the police said.

Two cars were hijacked and four others stolen. The majority of the vehicles were taken away in districts East and South. Seven motorcycles were hijacked. Eight others were stolen in districts East, Central, and South.

ROBBERIES: Two robberies were committed in the city on Saturday, the police said.

Five men barged into the house of Azam Ali in Defence Housing Authority, looted cash and valuables at gunpoint and got away with the loot.

Three armed men robbed Rehan Shah of cash and gold jewellery in a similar way in Shareefabad.
