PESHAWAR: The customs authorities at Bacha Khan International Airport arrested a passenger after recovering over 5 kilogrammes of gold from his luggage on Friday.

The passenger was identified as Asad Manzoor who had just arrived from Dubai on flight EK-636.

When his luggage was checked at the arrival hall of the airport, gold weighing 5kg and 774 grams was recovered from it.

The custom officials said that they seized the gold and an FIR had been lodged against the accused.
