Two foreign mountaineers have been reported missing during a Nanga Parbat expedition, DawnNewsTV reported on Wednesday.

The missing mountain-climbers, who hail from Italy and the United Kingdom, have not been heard from since Feb 24.

The mountaineers had embarked on an expedition to scale the 8,126-metre high peak. They have been missing from Camp 3, located at a height of 6,300m.

Mohammad Ali Sadpara, one of the top mountaineers of Pakistan, has launched a rescue operation in search of the missing foreign mountaineers.
