Sukkur garbage

Published February 25, 2019

MOUNDS of garbage along roads, and the acrid smell prevalent in most parts of the city are a serious challenge to the provincial government and the Sukkur city administration. Tonnes of waste end up in open spaces daily and remain unattended owing to improper waste management.

Consequently, this filth is having serious consequences on the people’s health. The problem is the delay in the release of funds. This has hindered development work.
