HYDERABAD: Brilliant Saad Baloch clinched the mens singles title by beating Anas Khan in straight sets while Hasheesh Kumar bagged the under-18 title and Abubakar Talha won the under-10 title in the inaugural Boulevard National Seniors & Juniors Tennis Championship that concluded here at the Hyderabad Gymkhana on Friday.

The week-long tournament attracted 150 plus entries from various part of the country.

Brig Hafeezullah Khan, Station commander Hyderabad, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed trophy and awards among the winning and runner-up players of various categories. Also present were SVP PTF Khalid Rehmani, President Hyderabad Tennis Association Javed Riaz, VP Khalid Jameel Shamsi veteran tennis player Rashid Malik (ZTBL).

Mens Singles (final): Saad Baloch bt Anas Khan 6-1 6-2

U-18 Singles (final): Hasheesh Kumar bt M Ali 7-5, 4-6 6-4

U-18 Doubles (final): Mahatir Muhammad +Hasheesh Kumar bt M Ali +Mazhar Hayat 6-3, 6-4

U-14 Doubles (final): Ali + Mustafa bt Muneer + Dhuraf Das 7-5 6-2

U-10 Singles (final): Abubakar Talha (Wapda) bt Ameer Mazari 4-0 4-1

Seniors 50-plus Singles (final): Rashid Malik bt Shabbir Gul 6-1, 1-0 (retd).
