NOWSHERA: Five members of a family were gunned down over property dispute in Kandi Taza Deen village of Pabbi here.

The incident occurred late on Wednesday night.

After getting information on early Thursday morning, the police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to Mian Rashid Shaheed Hospital, Pabbi, for autopsy.

According to police, the deceased were identified as Said Aleem Shah, his wife Hadia, their two sons Farman and Kashif and a daughter Nida Noor.

The cause of the incident was stated to be a property dispute. However, police said that investigation was underway. DPO Mansoor Aman and SP investigation Iftikhar Shah along with police personnel rushed to the place of incident.

Mr Aman said that the deceased actually belonged to Badabher, Peshawar, but were residing in Nowshera for the last one year. He said that police had collected evidences from the place, hoping that the assailants would soon be arrested.

Later, Sadam Hussain, brother of deceased, has filed an FIR against Allauddin, Moeenuddin, Badruddin and Salahuddin of Balokhel, Badhber.
