KARACHI, July 3: Pakistan International Airlines achieved a 20-year high seat factor of 85.5 per cent on its domestic and 77.2 per cent on international routes in June, thus achieving an overall average of 78.6 per cent in comparison to the international industry average of 73.6 per cent.

A PIA press release issued here said the customer centric policies focused on expanding network and on convenience, comfort and competitive fares for its passengers were contributing towards their confidence in PIA.

The press release said the month closed at achieving 1,174 million Revenue Passenger Kilometres (RPKS) again the highest since 1986.

Thus the increase in revenue will help the airline in offsetting adverse impact of the increasing fuel prices affecting the aviation industry, said the press release. — APP
