KARACHI, June 30: Ehteshamullah Syed, younger brother of Federal Minister for Housing and Works Syed Safwanullah, died of cardiac arrest on Thursday. He was 61. According to family sources, Ehteshamullah collapsed during morning walk and was taken to the Ziauddin Hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead.

His funeral prayer was offered in Masjid-i-Muhamadi, North Nazimabad, and he was buried in the Sakhi Hassan Graveyard.

Soyem will be held on Saturday between Asr and Maghrib prayers at D-170, Block B, North Nazimabad.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz telephoned Syed Safwanullah to condole the death. — APP
