THE final and a few other matches of Pakistan Super League 2019 will be held within the country. Owing to the mismanagement in the 2018 league, tickets for the final were not easily available to the public.
Last year the PSL management allowed every citizen to buy five tickets each while several people managed to purchase tickets in bulk with the intention of reselling them later at a higher price.
To avoid a recurrence, the PSL planners should ensure that tickets are only sold through the branches of banks and post offices.
One citizen should be allowed to purchase only two tickets and that too on showing the original CNIC and providing a photocopy of the same.
This measure will go a long way in curbing the blackmarket of tickets. Last but not least, ticket prices should be within the reach of average citizens.
