TIMERGARA: The Balambat tehsil council on Friday approved Rs38.6 million funds for a total of 75 development schemes in its jurisdiction.

The council met with tehsil nazim Imranuddin in the chair.

Tehsil municipal officer Iqbal Hassan, naib nazim Zeenul Abideen, tehsil accounts’ officer Kashif Khan and councillors attended the meeting, where different schemes and development plan came under discussion.

The council approved 75 development schemes, including water supply, pavement of streets and construction of link roads, waiting rooms and footpaths, and installation of water filtration plants.

The nazim said Rs38.6 million would be spent on the approved schemes.
