KARACHI: The federal government has offered the Sindh government its maximum support to construct low-cost houses for the poor people of the province.

This offer was made in a message of the prime minister conveyed to the Sindh chief minister by Prime Minister’s Task Force on Housing chairman Zaigham Rizvi during his meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah here at CM House.

Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani, Leader of the Opposition in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi and Adviser to the Chief Minister Murtaza Wahab were also present in the meeting.

Mr Rizvi told the chief minister that PM Khan wanted the Sindh government to constitute a special task force on housing and construct as many low-cost houses as it can from its own resources for the poor people of the province on easy instalments.
