KARACHI: Neighbourhood Club beat Nishter Club 58-48 to reach the semi-finals of the SSB Cup Quaid-i-Azam basketball tournament here at the Arambagh court on Monday night.

For the losing team, the main scorers were Talha Amjad (21 points), Mohammad Shabbar (11 points) and Waqar Zulfiqar (nine points).

For the winners, Chenway was the star performer with 20 points along with Abdullah Khan who scored 18 points.

Omar Khan and Hammad ND Khan scored eight points each.

Earlier on Sunday night, Bounce Club beat Nishter Club 71-43 to reach the quarter-finals.

Muzammil, with 26 points, was the architect behind Bounce Club’s win.

He was well-assisted by Zia Ahmed (19 points) and Mohsin Khan (15 points).

For the losing team, Talha Amjad scored 16 points while Mohammad Haroon (15 points) and Shabbar (seven points) also played well.
