ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan contingent left Islamabad on Tuesday for the UK to participate in the 2019 British Junior Squash Championship being staged in Birmingham early next year.

The squad includes players Haris Qasim, Farhan Hashmi, Asadullah Khan, Ashab Irfan and Anas Ali Shah and officials retired Air Commodore Aftab Sadiq Qureshi (manager), Mohammad Yasin and Fazal Shah (coaches).

The championship will be held from Jan 2 to 6.

Additional players — Abbas Zeb, Mohammad Hamza Khan, Noor Zaman and Humam Ahmed — who are currently competing in the US Junior Championship would also join them in training in UK before the start of the British Junior Championship.
