KARACHI, June 25: The City District Council, Karachi, has been summoned to meet on Monday (June 27) at 3:30pm. The house will consider approval of commercial status for Khayaban-i-Sadi, Khayaban-i-Romi, Nishtar Road and Alamgir Road; amendments to bylaws and Land Utilization 2003; and approval of the Devolved Social Services Programmes for Health Department.

On Tuesday, the city government’s budget 2005-06 would be presented to the house for approval and in the next two days, members would participate in a debate on the budget. — PPI
