Cricketer Mohammad Asif injured on road

LAHORE: Cricketer Mohammad Asif, his wife and two children suffered injuries in a road accident in Defence on Monday.

Mohammad Asif, with his family, was going to market by a car when it collided with a footpath in Phase-I while avoiding a rashly-driven car, a police official said.

He said the cricketer, his wife and two minor daughters suffered injuries and were rushed to a private hospital. After initial treatment, the injured were shifted to the Services Hospital.

The hospital administration said they would remain under treatment for a couple of days.
