KARACHI: Islamabad will take on two-time defending champions Multan in the final of sixth National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Monday.

The title-decider, which begins at 10;00am, coincides with the World Disabled Day with occasion being celebrated by both teams and the officials of the PDCA.

The special event is is being organised by the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) which is recognised by Pakistan Cricket Board.

It may be mentioned here Multan made it to the final after defeating Karachi in first semi-final played at Karachi, while Islamabad booked their place after sealing victory against Peshawar in Rawalpindi.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held after the match with PCB representative retired Colonel Naushad Ali, PDCA president and ex-Pakistan Test captain Rashid Latif, ICRC’s Najm-ul-Saqib, Younus Alam, PDCA honorary secretary Amiruddin Ansari and other officials in attendance.

PDCA chief selector Iqbal Imam has announced the following squads of the two finalists:

MULTAN: Matloob Qureshi (captain), Jahanzaib Tiwana, Umaiz-ur-Rehman, Zubair Saleem, Majid Hussain, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Asif, Farhan Ali, Abdul Mannan, Mohammad Sarfraz, Mohammad Babar, Tahir, Mohammad Saqib, Mohammad Imran, Allah Ditta; Mansoor Latifi (coach), Mohammad Hasan Jamil (team manager).
