KARACHI: Pakistani quartet open their campaign in the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) World Snooker Championships in the men’s and master’s events when it cues of at Yangon on Monday.

The trio that features in the men’s category includes Babar Masih, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Bilal while Imran Shahzad will represent the country in the master’s category.

According to details made available here, 68 cueists from 31 nations will vie for honours in the men’s category. They have been divided in 16 groups and the top three from each will advance into the knockout round.

As many as 50 cueists have entered the fray in the master’s category.
