LAHORE: Faisalabad defeated Lahore by two wickets in a thrilling final to clinch the PCB-Pepsi Stars National Under-16 title at the Gaddafi Stadium here on Monday.

Sameer Saqib (43 off 82 balls, three fours) and Mohammad Ibtisam (42 off 46, three fours and one six) guided Faisalabad to 192-8 after Mohammad Awais (3-28) and Ali Asfand (3-34) limited Lahore to 190-9 in 45 overs.

Hammad Sattar was the top-scorer for Lahore with a 108-ball 68 (10 fours).
