PESHAWAR: A teenager was injured when a toy bomb exploded in Serai Derpakhel area of North Waziristan tribal district on Tuesday.
Family sources said that Shakirullah, 14, was playing with a toy outside his house when it exploded. He was taken to the district headquarters hospital in Miramshah.
According to the hospital sources doctors feared that teenager might lose his eyesight as he received wounds on his face.
Incidents of toy bombs and improvised explosive device going off frequently occur in the volatile district.
