KARACHI: Adviser to the chief minister of Sindh on information, law and anti-corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab said on Sunday that the Sindh government would establish the state-of-the-art forensic laboratory and the feasibility and technical report in this regard had been made.

He stated this while talking to journalists.

He rejected the notion that facility of forensic lab was not available in Sindh, adding that forensic investigation and research were being conducted at the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro; however, it was not equipped with latest tools.

He said the Sindh government had decided to establish a well-equipped forensic lab on modern lines in Malir. He said demarcation of land had been completed, while funds had also been allocated in this regard.
