KARACHI: It is authoritatively learnt here that two persons have been arrested at Jacobabad in connection with the investigation into the murder of late Mr. Allah Bux in May this year. The arrests were made three or four days ago [Oct 14-15] at Jacobabad where the Inspector-General of Police has been camping. The Inspector-General is reported to have summoned to Jacobabad for the purpose of identification of the persons arrested, five persons who were present at the time of the murder of the ex-Premier. These included Ghulam Rasool Jhulan, and Wadero Nabibux, both of whom were co-passengers in the tonga in which Mr. Allah Bux was then travelling.

Four of the persons summoned from Jacobabad are said to have identified one of the arrested persons from out of a line of 10 persons, while the foot-tracker is said to have identified the footprints. Subsequently, the Inspector-General of Police came to the scene of the offence accompanied by some officials and the five persons who had taken part in the identification. It is stated that the second man who has been arrested is an accomplice in the crime and that the police are on the track of a probable conspiracy behind the murder.
