About White Australia policy, the Prime Minister said, he disliked racial discrimination. Mr Liaquat Ali Khan accused Afghanistan of carrying on a “very vicious and false” propaganda campaign against Pakistan. — News agencies

[Meanwhile, as reported by news agencies in Karachi,] trade negotiations between Pakistan and the SCAP Mission [Japan] have reached the final stage, it was learned … on Friday [April 29].
