ISLAMABAD: The third and last match of the Asian style kabaddi series between Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) ended in a draw here at the PAF Complex on Friday

As a result PAF clinched the series 2-0, having won the first and second matches 35-32 and 52-36, respectively, a spokesman of PAF said on Friday.

The series was a part of a bilateral sports programme between the air forces of Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The last match was a close affair and ended in a dramatic 26-26 draw. Usman Khalid and Arsalan Maitla were the main players from PAF while Kurrupu and Rathanayake fared impressively for SLAF.

This is the first time that PAF has organised the Asian style kabaddi series under the banner of PAF-Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Bilateral Sports Exchange.

Under the same initiative, SLAF football team visited Pakistan last year to play a bilateral series with their PAF counterparts.
