KARACHI: Draws for the National Women Basketball Championship were announced here at the Arambagh courts on Monday.

A total of ten teams will be competing in the championship which will be held in Islamabad from Sept 30 to Oct 4.

The teams have been divided into two groups. Group A comprises Pakistan Wapda, Karachi, Hyderabad, Hazara and Rawalpindi while Group B has Pakistan Army, Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore and Quetta.

All matches will be played on single league basis.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Basketball Federation has nominated KBBA president Ghulam Mohammad in Jury of Appeals as well as media coordinator for the championship.
