CHARSADDA/NOWSHERA: Mutilated bodies of a woman and her daughter were found in Aladadkhel village of Shabqaddar tehsil here on Wednesday, while body a local trader was recovered from Bahaderkhel village of Nowshera.

In Charsadda, the Batgram police said that about five days ago one Ismail reported to them that his 36-year-old wife along with two daughters – five-year-old Dua and four-month-old Fajar — went to a doctor for checkup, but didn’t return home.

However, on Wednesday bodies of the woman and her daughter Dua were found in the nearby fields while her other daughter was found alive.

The bodies were sent to Khyber Medical College for autopsy.

Later, Anwar Syed, brother of the woman, lodged an FIR against her husband. According to sources, Ismail had contracted second marriage.

The police registered a murder case and have started investigation.

In Nowshera, body of a local businessman, who was kidnapped two days ago from his village Merajai near Manki Sharif, was found on Wednesday in a nearby village of Bahaderkhel.

According to police, the body of businessman Khizar Hayat had been recovered from Bahaderkhel village.

They said that some villagers informed the Nowshera Kalan police about the body, which was taken to district headquarter hospital, Nowshera, and later handed over to the family members.

The police have registered a case against unknown assailants.
