LAHORE: The Punjab government plans launching pilot projects in each of its departments as a part of 100-day agenda to showcase Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision.

The government is working on short-term and long-term planning to transform Pakistan into a better place to live, said Punjab Senior Minister Aleem Khan while chairing a review meeting of tourism, labour, industries, irrigation and other departments here on Wednesday.

He said the government was presenting ‘revolutionary’ recommendations to improve working of public sector organisations. He said the departments’ working would be computerised for public benefit as well as monitoring mechanism.

Aleem Khan said the Punjab government would devise its annual development programme on the basis of ground realities and objective of people’s welfare.

Mr Khan also attended an annual development programme review meeting along with Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht.
