BATKHELA: Two bodies were fished out from Swat River at Batkhela, Malakand district, here on Wednesday.

According to local people the volunteers of civil defence were searching for body of a youth from Chakdara who was swept away by gushing waters on Tuesday. However, they fished out body of another man who was later identified as Tariq Khan of Quetta, Balochistan.

The man was a watchman in a car showroom in Pul Chowkai, Malakand area. He was patient of epilepsy and may have fallen into the river. His body was dispatched to his hometown.

Later, the volunteer also found body of Akbar Ali of Chakdara, Lower Dir. The body was handed over to relatives.
