KARACHI, June 12: The nazims of different local government tiers of the City District Government Karachi have expressed their gratitude to the Sindh Senior Minister for Finance, Syed Sardar Ahmed, for acknowledging uplift work initiated in the metropolis by the local government during the last few years.

In a joint statement here on Sunday they, however, clarified that the Tameer-i-Karachi Package had nothing to do with the Sindh government but could be materialised through the sincerity and commitment on part of the City Nazim Niamatullah Khan. — APP
