Bilawal & Larkana

Published September 9, 2018

THIS is apropos the news item ‘Bilawal asks CM, LG minister to improve governance at UC level’ (Aug 28). I would like to ask Bilawal-Bhutto Zardari if he ever asked his aunt, who also won from NA-200 Larkana, what development and change has been brought in the life of the common man living in that constituency.

Bilawal may be a good orator and may speak good English, but the people do not need these skills. Instead, they want their problems resolved. They need action and a change in their living standards.

Did any local minister ever visit Larkana and did he see during the last 10 years the apathy of the local municipal corporation towards the people’s issues?

Now Bilawal is asking his minister to sort out the problems at union council level. Why didn’t he do the same earlier? Would he like to visit the areas from where he won in election?

Will he ask his father what has he done for the people of Larkana? During his tenure, he never bothered to visit the city. This might be the last time he won.
