KARACHI: Hundreds of Mehsud tribesmen attended a jirga he on Sunday at Sohrab Goth to discuss the status of investigation into the Naqeebullah murder case. Naqeebullah who was killed in an alleged fake encounter in the city in January.

The jirga appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan to “punish police officer Rao Anwar” for killing Naqeebullah. Recently elected PTI’s lawmaker from Karachi Saifur Rehman Mesud, Naqeebullah’s father and other tribesmen spoke to the participants.
