LAHORE: A city administration team on Saturday got managers of eight petrol pumps arrested for not following the newly issued prices of petrol, diesel and other products.

The team, headed by Assistant Commissioner (Raiwind) Asif Saleem, also got cases registered against fuel stations’ managers. It sealed three petrol pumps for not following the directions despite being issued warning in various parts of the city, according to a spokesman.

Another team, led by the deputy district officer (health), raided a spot in Karim Park and got a quack arrested. The team also sealed the clinic besides confiscating the equipment / instruments.

LWMC: The Mutahidda Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) hosted a breakfast and distributed gifts to Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) workers for their good performance on Eidul Azha.
