CHARSADDA: Five people including a schoolteacher were killed in different incidents here on Monday.

Shazia, a teacher of government girls high school Dawlat Pura, was hit by a speeding Suzuki van when she was going to school. She succumbed to her injuries.

The driver of the van managed to escape after the accident.

Zawar Ali, the husband of the deceased teacher, lodged FIR against the driver of the van. Police started investigation.

Saddam, a resident of Mardan, was killed when his motorcycle collided with another motorbike. Amad, a resident of Beyar Garhi, was killed after falling down from his motorbike while doing one wheeling.

Meanwhile, a youth identified as Shah Faisal was shot dead allegedly by Izhar Ali, a resident of Hussainabad. Shah Khalid, the brother of the deceased, registered FIR against the suspect at Prang police station.

Also, 36-year-old Mohammad Iqbal was killed over a dispute. Jan Iqbal, the brother of the deceased, registered Fir against Adnan, Aziz, Mohammad Jan, Asad Jan and Khalid Khan at Shabqadar police station.
