MULTAN: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Multan, arrested an accused involved in Rs190m corruption case and got his 12-day physical remand from an accountability court on Friday.

Muhammad Javed Iqbal Toor was arrested from Haroonabad for his alleged role in preparing bogus appointment letters, joining letters and transfer orders to usurp public funds in connivance with officials of the district accounts office and Bahawalnagar District Education Department, a NAB spokesman said.

NAB has already arrested 15 accused in the case, including officials of the district accounts office and education department.
