ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Law and Justice Syed Ali Zafar on Thursday expressed the hope that the first report on the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) would create awareness about transparency of procedures, and suggested that such reports should be brought out on an annual basis.

Speaking to FST Chairman retired Justice Sayed Zahid Hussain, who met him to present the report, the minister appreciated the efforts of the tribunal on preparing the first report.

He said the FST was an important federal government institution which served as a judicial forum for service matters of government officials. He said it was of utmost importance that FST decisions were made in a way which won the trust of both parties while upholding highest standards of justice in a timely manner.
