PTI strategy

Published August 14, 2018

THE PTI is being castigated for making political alliances with the very same people they used to bitterly criticise for their sins of omission and commission. One fails to understand why all the commotion.

There should be no doubt that the party is serious about correcting the flaws and addressing the ills that prevail in our system. To achieve this objective, the PTI will form government in the Centre as well as in three provinces. As the party does not have the requisite numbers to do so it is natural that PTI approached other political parties to form coalition governments.

After all, doesn’t one swallow a bitter pill to treat a nasty disease and rid oneself of a malady?
