LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan on Friday recorded his statement before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) here in a case pertaining to assets beyond his known sources of income.

The bureau had re-summoned Khan after his failure to satisfy the investigators in the case earlier. He was reportedly quizzed by investigators for an hour. He claimed to have provided relevant record to the NAB and replied to the investigators’ queries. He said he would appear before the bureau if re-summoned.

“I have replied to all queries of the investigators and have no issue appearing before the NAB if re-summoned,” he said.

The NAB has been probing Aleem Khan in various inquiries, including owning an offshore company.

Meanwhile, PML-N MNA-elect Azhar Qayyum Nahra and Mudassar Qayyum Nahra also appeared before the NAB Lahore and recorded their statements in cases of assets beyond their known sources of income. They were reportedly quizzed for more than four hours by investigators.
