ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has arrested deputy general manager records, Ministry of Commerce Employees Cooperative Housing Society, on charges of corruption.
The accused was found involved in corruption in allotment of plots and embezzlement of the society’s funds.
The NAB officials produced the accused in the Accountability Court Islamabad.
The judge sent him on 10 days physical remand on NAB’s request .
Earlier, on August 2, NAB arrested the top office-bearers of the housing society for illegal allotment of plots, embezzlement in funds and illegal award of contracts for infrastructural development in the housing scheme to some private construction companies.
