TOBA TEK SINGH: A farmer was allegedly tortured to death by his three neighbours at Gojra on Sunday.

Police said Shakeel, Sharjeel and Naveed exchanged harsh words with Muhammad Saleem, a 65-year-old farmer of Chak 241-GB, Garha over the dispute of closure of a drain from which rainwater had to flow.

The three brothers attacked Saleem and tortured him to death. They also injured his two sons.

INJURED: Four members of a family were injured when a roof of their house at Gojra’s new grain market area caved in during rain on Sunday.

Locals said they rescued Mumtaz Bibi and Sahiban Bibi and Zeeshan and Munir were admitted to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital in a critical condition.
