LAHORE: The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Friday announced position holders in the annual matriculation examination 2018.

Waseem Yaseen of Punjab Daanish School, Indus Highway Road in Fazilpur district of Rajanpur and Tauseef Afzal of Ali Public Boys High School, Shah Jahan Road in Rehmanpura, Lahore share the overall first position by scoring 1,091 marks each, BISE Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail announced at a press conference.

Muhammad Hashim Faisal of The Educators (Sabzazar campus) on Multan Road, Lahore and Wajiha Aslam of The Trust Girls High School in Amir Town of Harbanspura, Lahore share the second position with 1,090 marks each and Hafsa Saleem of Allama Iqbal Public School for Girls, Raiwind Road, Kasur got the third position with 1,089 marks.

Two boys share first position in Lahore

Waseem Yaseen and Tauseef Afzal share the first position in science group (boys) with 1,091 marks each. Muhammad Hashim Faisal secured second position with 1,090 marks and Hafiz Muhammad Haris of Govt Central Model High School, Lower Mall third with 1,088 marks.

In the girls’ science group, Wajiha Aslam bagged the first position with 1,090 marks, Hafsa Saleem second with 1,089 marks and Areej of Hera Public High School for Girls in Nankana Sahib and Zahra Shoaib of Divisional Public Girls Higher Secondary School in Model Town, Lahore share the third position with 1,088 marks each.

In boys’ humanities group, Muhammad Azeem Ikhlas, a private candidate, secured the first position by bagging 1,034 marks; Mueenuddin, another private candidate, got the second position with 1,026 marks and Abu Bakar Asif of Rana Grammar Boys High School in Gulshan-i-Ravi Lahore got the third position with 1,016 marks.

In girls’ humanities group, Aresha of Farooqi Girls High School on Ravi Road, Lahore got the first position with 1,059 marks; Ayesha Mariyan of the Punjab Girls High School, Township Lahore second with 1,054 marks and Sohaiba of Farooqi Girls High School, Ravi Road third with 1,045 marks.

SARGODHA: Punjab educational boards unveiled on Friday position holders of annual examinations of matriculation 2018.

Sargodha Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) first three positions went to Ammar Munir of the Dar-i-Arqam Model School (1,087 marks), Amjad Ali of the Government High School Lakseen (1,087 marks), Ali Hassan of the Dar-i-Arqam School (1,085 marks), Atika of the Islamic Altavista High School (1,085 marks), and Izza Munir of Sanai School System (1,085 marks).

GUJRANWALA: Muhammad Hussain Shahzad Butt of the Royal Genius Cambridge High School stood first with 1,086 marks, Arfa Akram of the Quaid-i-Azam Divisional Public High School second with 1,085 marks and Suhaib Ahmed of Misali Public School, Hafizabad, and Sara of Government High School, Narowal, shared the third position with1,083 marks each.

BAHAWALPUR: The over-all first position went to Abuzar Saeed of the Government Model High School, Chishtian, who scored 1,085 marks while Aisha Ali of Al-Huda Grammar Girls’ School, Rahim Yar Khan, and Rana Muhammad Zaka of the Chishtian Science College clinched the second position with 1,084 marks each and Ireaba Irshad of Sheikh Zayed Girls’ Higher Secondary Public School, Rahim Yar Khan stood third with 1,083 marks.

SAHIWAL: Muhammad Ahsan Ashraf of the Okara Divisional Public School, Shafiullah Mohsin and Amina Nouman of Arifwal grabbed the positions with 1,091, 1,086 and 1,085 marks respectively.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: In the Dera Ghazi Khan BISE, Ayesha Marium of Meri Darsgah Girls’ High School, Kot Addu in Muzafargarh, Ayesha Nazar of Almumtaz Model Girls’ School, Jampur, and Hamza Ahmed of New Garrison Higher Secondary School Taunsa Sharif, jointly shared the first position with 1,089 marks. The second position was won by Fiaqa Tariq of Superior Public Girls’ Secondary School, Chowk Azam, Muzaffargarh, with 1,088 marks while the third position holder is n Muhammad Sulaiman Farid of Divisional Public School, Dera Ghazi Khan by bagging 1087 marks.

TOBA TEK SINGH: Divisional Public Girls’ Higher Secondary School student Ayesha Khalid got the overall third position in the annual matriculation examination of the Faisalabad BISE. She got 1,086 marks.
