GUJRANWALA: Former chief minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday promised development projects during his public address at Alipur Chatha, Gharbi Ghala Mandi and Nosheran Virkan.

He said Nawaz Sharif and Maryam were facing jail because of the love and support he received from the people of Pakistan. “The people should decide who served the country and who wasted the time of the nation and created hurdles in the way of development.”

Speaking at Alipur Chattha and Noshehran Virkan, he said the PML-N would construct dams if voted to power again.

He criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and Pakistan Peoples Party for not executing development works in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh.

He said the PML-N government raised the lifestyle of the people of Punjab, eliminated loadshedding, and almost eradicated terrorism from the country,

“If the public give them another chance the PML-N will construct dams for the country, set up a university for the people of the district, ply metro bus and improve the health facilities and sanitation system,” he said.
