TIMERGARA: Provincial president of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal Maulana Gul Naseeb has said that his party has withdrawn its candidate in NA-3, Swat, in favour of PML-N president Mian Shahbaz Sharif.

Flanked by PML-N provincial president Amir Muqam, the MMA leader told mediapersons at Chakdara Press Club the other day that his party would fully support the PML-N candidate, Shahbaz Sharif, in NA-3, Swat. Fazlur

Mr Muqam thanked the JUI-F and MMA for supporting his party candidate. Maulana Naseeb said that MMA president Maulana Fazlur Rehman had withdrawn his candidate Maulana Hijjatullah on the request of Mr Sharif. He said that the MMA supporters would also run campaign for the PML-N president.

Meanwhile, Qaumi Watan Party candidate for NA-6 Abdul Wadood Khan announced to withdraw in support of ANP candidate Zahid Khan. He made the announcement at the residence of Wasil Khan, an ANP activist, in Chakdara the other day where Zahid Khan was also present. EMPLOYEES’ SON QUOTA:A retired class-IV employee from Government Centennial Model High School, Timergara, Khaista Khan of Kamrany area has complained that his son is not being recruited on employees’ son quota.

Talking to mediapersons here, he said that he retired from service on Oct 31 last year and applied for his son’s appointment against the quota allotted to class-IV employees of the government. He said that another man was appointed on his place in violation of rules. He said that the Peshawar High Court circuit bench, Swat, had also decided the case in his favour. He demanded of the caretaker chief minister to take notice of the matter and direct the relevant authorities to appoint his son Imran Khan.
