ISLAMABAD: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) on Monday started its election campaign in the federal capital.

Party Chairman Dr Mohammad Amjad, who is contesting elections from NA-52 and NA-53, led the rally which started from Zero Point and after passing through different roads reached at the National Press Club.

Participants showed trust in the leadership of Dr Amjad and said that their party would play its role in changing the fate of the country.

Former chairman of APML retired General Pervez Musharraf last week quit as chairman of the party and named Dr Amjad as chairman of the party and Mehreen Malik Adam as general secretary.
