PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that power supply will remain suspended on Saturday (June 23) and Sunday from 9am to 12 noon in various areas of Peshawar due to maintenance work on the transmission lines.
Resultantly, the consumers will face inconvenience in areas, including Gulberg, Sonehri Masjid, Nothia, Civil Quarters, Bana Mari, Kohat Road and Murshidabad.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, Pesco said that power supply would also remain suspended on the same days for the same duration in Islamia College, MES and NCR besides affecting the consumers of the City Circular Road, Danishabad, Canal Town, University Campus, Malakander, Old Bara Road and Rahatabad 1 and 2.
The supply will remain suspended from 5am to 12 noon in Tormang-1, Warsak and Samar Bagh. It was stated that the power supply would also be suspended from 5am to 12 noon for the consumers of Paindakhel, Sultankhel, Karo, New Wari and Tormang.
Also in Dir, the power supply will remain suspended on the same days from 5am to 12 noon, which will affect the consumers of Wari, Dir, Warawal, Shringle and Dir. The residents of Darosh, Chitral, will suffer due to suspension of power supply on the same days for the same duration.
