QUETTA: Three children of a family were killed and their father suffered injuries after landslides hit their car in Zhob district on Saturday.

According to Levies, Rahmatullah Safi was going for picnic along with his children. When they reached the Salyazi area of Zhob district their car came under landslides.

“The incident left three children dead,” said Levies officials who rushed to the site soon after receiving information about the incident.

The bodies were retrieved from under the debris. The children were identified as Nazar Mohammad, Matiullah and Nasibullah.

The injured Rahmatullah Safi was taken to the district hospital in Zhob. It may be pertinent to mention that Mr Safi will be contesting the July 25 election from the Balochistan Assembly constituency PB-2 Zhob.
