DHAKA, May 28: Angry students went on the rampage and clashed with police on Dhaka University campus on Saturday after a bus knocked a female student to death.

The psychology student was run over by a bus at a railway crossing while she was on her way to the university. The students set fire to several vehicles and damaged dozens of others.

The situation aggravated after rumours spread that four students had been killed in the accident.
