SIALKOT: Four friends drowned in the river Chenab while taking a bath to beat the scorching heat here on Thursday near Randheer-Begowala, Sambrial tehsil.
Reports said Niamat (17), Naeem (18), Saqib (18) and Hassan (20) were taking a bath in the river when they moved towards deep water and drowned.
Rescue 1122 divers were searching for the bodies till the filing of the report at 6:30pm.
