KARACHI, May 27: The Quaid-i-Azam House Museum is the next destination of the ‘Karavan Pakistan’ which has launched a series of heritage cleaning events under an organized programme. The museum is to be cleaned on Saturday. Under the programme 2004-05, Lahore Fort, Rohtas Fort (Bahawalpur), Holy Trinity Cathedral, Wallace Bridge and Bandookwala Building have already undergone thorough cleaning.

The Quaid-i-Azam House Museum is a modest but charming house built in the cantonment area probably in the 1890s and was originally owned by the Parsi magnate, Sorab Kowasji and Dina Katrak before the Quaid-i-Azam bought it.

A team of 74 children from five schools associated with the Karavan Pakistan for the cleaning purpose would be taking part in the Saturday event.—APP
