LAHORE: The district judiciary of Lahore on Thursday denied having sent any ‘anonymous’ letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar against alleged rowdy behaviour of lawyers and demanding deployment of the Rangers at the courts.

A declaration issued by the district judiciary states the judges of Lahore have a complete faith in the leadership and abilities of District and Sessions Judge Abid Qureshi and they have been working with diligence and without any fear.

It adds that the anonymous letter viral on social media has been wrongly attributed to the district judiciary of Lahore.

“The district judiciary of Lahore strongly contradicts this letter and expresses total disassociation with it, terming it a conspiracy of any unseen force,” says the declaration.
