ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday delivered another blow to the ruling party as two more lawmakers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz announced their decision joining the PTI.

According to a press release issued by the PTI’s media wing, MNA Ashiq Gopang and MPA Amir Gopang along with their associates parted their ways with the PML-N and joined the PTI after a meeting with PTI chairman Imran Khan at his Banigala residence.

Senior PTI leader Jahangir Khan Tareen was also present in the meeting. Ashiq Gopang and Amir Gopang expressed confidence in the party and its leadership.

During the last 50 days around 100 lawmakers and prominent political leaders have joined the PTI.
